ADSL At 100Mbps?
That’s what one Aussie’s PhD work is leaning towards.
An Australian researcher is on the road to riches after discovering a way to make broadband connections up to 100 times faster.
University of Melbourne research fellow Dr John Papandriopoulos is in the throes of moving to Silicon Valley after developing an algorithm to reduce the electromagnetic interference that slows down ADSL connections.
On a side note, while others openly rebuke Paul Graham’s assertion that startups would do better if they moved to Silicon Valley, looks like Aussies, or at least this author from The Sunday Herald recognizes the place to be the Valley if you’ve got something cool.
Silicon Valley… here I come!
